Currently works for Music Mastermind

BD joined as a Master’s student at the Georgia Tech Center for Music Technology in Spring 2008. His research interests include music information retrieval, cognition and sound programming. Currently BD is working with his advisor Jason Freeman on sonic park – a sound exploratory project based on GPS data. He has also worked on projects exploring robotic musicianship under Gil Weinberg.

BD completed his Bachelors’ in Computer Science Engineering from VTU (India) and has subsequently worked with IBM in the Mainframes domain.

His other interests include jazz and journalism.
