Currently works for ZOOZ Mobile

Meghashyam completed his Bachelor’s degree program in Electronics in 2000 from V.I.T. , Pune. He was working in Mumbai, India since 2001 for PACE Communications, a company that provides Professional Audio equipment and services as Product Specialist and Tech. Support Engineer. He has also been a guitarist for several rock bands in the country, the most popular of which were Helga’s Fun Castle and Zero. Their music can be found at http://www.last.fm. The pursuit to bridge the gap between technology and music has brought him to Georgia Tech.

This is his first semester in the Music Technology Master’s program, and he is currently working on a content based recommendation system for Indian popular music under Parag Chordia.  Along with the technical education, Meghashyam also wishes to continue composing and performing music.
