Jimmy graduated from the University of Miami with a major in Music Engineering and minors in E.E., C.E. and Mathematics. His current research is in the Robotic Musicianship Group under Gil Weinberg, where he helps develop Travis, the group's newest installation. He is a classical percussionist, having studied under Ney Rosauro and Svet Stoyanov. He also dabbles in guitar and sings in the shower.
