Jay Clark

Jay Clark graduated from Tufts University where he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as the university's first minor in Music Engineering. He is among a new generation that has learned composition from Garageband and thinks in piano rolls. He holds a great passion for composition, recording and production, and cherishes music's ability to portray emotional content to an incredible depth. His background in ME combined with his love for music drew him to the GTCMT and the Robotic Musicianship Group. His research interests include intuitive interfaces for musical novices, interactive music technologies and human-robot interaction.
