Anosh Daruwalla

Anosh Daruwalla did his undergrad in Electronics and Telecommunications from Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues Institute of Technology, Navi Mumbai, India. Being an avid lover of music and a BE in electronics, he joined the Music Technology course in Fall 2010, hoping to combine his studies with his hobby. He is currently doing his research under the guidance of Prof. Freeman, developing a mobile app for audience participation in stage shows called “Mass Mobile”. He also designed an interactive music system for novices named “Dip”. This system allows a novice to run his or her hands through water and create sounds and play it just like a musical instrument. He is also working on the sound generation of a system called “Crossole” which uses listening machine techniques through gestures from the Kinect. Prior to this, he has made a few smaller projects during his undergrad degree such as a portable audio amplifier and an ultrasonic burglar alarm. In his free time, he plays the blues and locks himself away into his own world.
