Interested in ways that people can interact with sound, Andrew Beck has written computer games that focus on sound, composed reactive video game music, and implemented alternate controllers for musicians and companies. Andrew studied Music Synthesis at Berklee College of Music and is currently a Music Technology Graduate student at Georgia Institute of Technology. His recent work focuses on musical uses for mass produced devices, mobile phone technology, sound installation and video game design, with a focus on enabling non-musicians to create and play with music.
In between the hours of coding, Andrew is also a song-writer. His music can be heard at http://www.andrewbeckmusic.com/.
